Known throughout the boxing community as "The Hurricane," Shane Swartz has dedicated his life to the sport of boxing.

Born and raised in Fort Collins, Shane began boxing at just five years old under the guidance of his father, Roger Swartz, founder of the legendary Choice City Boxing program.

Over the next several decades, Shane established himself as one of Colorado's most accomplished fighters.

His accomplishments include:

  • 6 National Boxing Titles

  • 1991 Junior National Champion

  • 1994 United States Champion

  • Ranked #1 Amateur Boxer in the World

  • Silver Medalist at the Goodwill Games in St. Petersburg, Russia

  • Over 300 Amateur Boxing Bouts

While those accomplishments are impressive, what truly separates Shane is his passion for teaching.

After nearly three decades in the sport, Shane now focuses on helping students develop authentic boxing skills through proper instruction, discipline, and mentorship.

Following his successful battle against throat cancer in 2019, Shane's mission became even larger than boxing itself.

With more than 14 years of boxing experience and over two decades of experience educating and mentoring youth and adults, Sarah brings a unique perspective to coaching.

In addition to her boxing background, Sarah is a licensed therapist trained in physical and therapeutic intervention.

This combination allows her to help athletes develop not only physically but mentally as well.

Sarah is passionate about helping students understand the technical side of boxing while building confidence, discipline, and resilience that extends beyond the gym.

As part of Shane Swartz's coaching team, she continues to help students develop authentic boxing skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Working closely alongside Shane Swartz, Danielle continues to refine her coaching abilities while helping students master the fundamentals that lead to long-term success.

Her coaching style emphasizes skill development, mental toughness, and creating an environment where athletes can confidently pursue their goals.
